The Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA) warns the public against the activities of Arian Financial (cloned firm), a company that offers investment services.

Arian Financial (cloned firm) is not an authorized investment firm in Belgium. It is therefore not allowed to provide investment services in or from Belgium.

Moreover, according to the information available to the FSMA, the activities proposed could be of a fraudulent nature, i.e. boiler room fraud. More information on this form of fraud is available in the press release published by the FSMA on 10 September 2015.

The FSMA thus strongly advises against responding to any offer of financial service made by Arian Financial (cloned firm) and against transferring money to any account number it might mention.

Arian Financial (cloned firm) uses a Belgian telephone number (02/808.59.68). The contact person is someone by the name of Mr Regis Weber (regis.weber@arian-financial.com).

Arian Financial (cloned firm) has usurped the identity of Arian Financial LLP, a company with registered office in London (12 Appold St, London, United Kingdom, EC2A 2AW), authorized in the United Kingdom (authorization number 415230), that has notified its intention to provide investment services in Belgium under the free provision of services. However, these two companies are totally unrelated. They in fact have separate contact details. The aforementioned practice is a common feature of the type of fraud known as "cloned firms": the identity of an existing person or company (a lawyer, an authorized firm, etc.) is usurped in order to give the appearance of trustworthiness or legitimacy, and thereby to convince investors.
